Modern technologies to be introduced in agriculture

The Presidential Resolution “On measures for the introduction of modern technologies in agriculture” (RP-99, March 13, 2026) was adopted.

🔰 According to the Resolution, the joint-stock commercial bank “Agrobank” will, on an experimental basis until the end of 2026, establish agro-service zones in one bank branch in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and in each region.

✅ The following additional tasks are assigned to Agrobank to support agricultural enterprises:

🔸 wide introduction of new modern intensive technologies in the cultivation of agricultural products and support for startup projects;

🔸 development of banking and agricultural services based on artificial intelligence, remote monitoring, and big data technologies.

🏛 In order to centrally analyze monitoring data on crop areas, weather conditions, and the condition of plant development based on space data, an Agricultural Monitoring Center will be established.

💸 Through Agrobank, loans will be provided to households, household land owners, and dehkan farms for the cultivation of figs, persimmons, apples, and pears for a period of 84 months, with a 24-month grace period, at an annual interest rate of 18 percent.
