Liability for violating the procedure for the retail sale of prescription drugs is being increased

By the Law (No. O'RQ–1120 dated 06 March 2026), amendments and additions were made to certain legislative acts.

🔰 According to the amendments made to the Code of Administrative Responsibility, the violation of the procedure for the retail sale of medicinal products containing potent substances by prescription:

➖ Shall entail a fine from 100 to 200 times the BCA (Base Calculating Amount).

📌 In the current version, a fine from 50 to 100 times the BCA is established for this offense.

✅ According to the amendments made to the Criminal Code, the violation of the procedure for the retail sale of medicinal products containing potent substances by prescription, if committed after the application of an administrative penalty or in a large amount:

➖ Shall be punished by a fine from 200 to 300 times the BCA, or correctional labor for up to 3 years, or restriction of liberty from 2 to 5 years, or deprivation of liberty for up to 5 years.

📌 In the current version, the minimum fine is established at 100 times the BCA.

📝 Furthermore, additions were made to the Land Code providing that a lessee of an agricultural land plot may transfer their rights and obligations regarding one or more land plots to another person.

💸 Additionally, according to additions to the Law “On State Duty”, family members of a “Vatandosh” cardholder are exempt from paying state duty for extending the current visa period into a multiple-entry visa during the validity period of the “Vatandosh” card.
