The “Fergana” Tourist and Recreational Zone to Be Established

By Presidential Resolution No. RP-5 dated January 12, 2026, the Resolution “On measures to establish the ‘Fergana’ tourist and recreational zone” was adopted.

🏛 According to the Resolution, the “Fergana” tourist and recreational zone (the Tourist Zone) with a total area of 2,396 hectares shall be established.

⌛️ The Tourist Zone shall be established for a period of 30 years, with the possibility of subsequent extension.

☑️ In Fergana district, the necessary infrastructure shall be created to transform the “Vodil” raspberry agro-tourism cluster into a tourist facility, and lightweight service facilities shall be established within raspberry gardens (plantations) through the involvement of potential entrepreneurs.

📑 In 2026–2027, jobs shall be created by organizing tourism services on land plots surrounding the Central Fergana Water Reservoir in Yozyovon district.

✅ In the territories of the “Sanoat” and “Hosilot” mahallas of Fergana district, agro-tourism services shall be developed through the establishment of raspberry plantations, construction of cold storage facilities and deep processing workshops, based on the positive experience of foreign countries.
