❗️ Cruel treatment of animals, that is, subjecting them to torture or causing suffering for selfish or other base motives, entails the imposition of a fine in the amount of three to five times the Base Calculation Amount (BCA) (from UZS 1,236,000 to UZS 2,060,000).

☑️ If such acts result in the death or maiming of animals, or are committed after an administrative penalty has already been imposed for similar actions, a punishment may be applied ranging from a fine of up to fifty times the BCA (up to UZS 20,600,000) to deprivation of liberty for up to six months.
