The procedure for performing notarial acts via videoconferencing has been established

The Regulation “On the procedure for performing notarial acts via videoconferencing” has been state-registered with the Ministry of Justice (registration No. 3742, dated 5 January 2026).

🔰 The Regulation establishes the procedure for notaries to perform notarial acts remotely via videoconferencing where a natural or legal person, or their representative, does not appear in person at a notarial office.

✅ According to the Regulation, notarial acts performed via videoconferencing shall be certified through the E-notarius.uz information portal and the Notarius automated information system.

📝 An applicant wishing to perform a notarial act via videoconferencing reviews the terms of using electronic networks and confirms consent thereto.

📑 The applicant clearly indicates the name of the notarial act requested for electronic certification and completes the required information in the electronic system.

⏳ Within one working day from the time the application is received, the notary reviews the application and sends a notification indicating whether any deficiencies are identified.

📁 During personal communication with the notary, it is required that no other persons be present at the location of the parties to the notarial act; the premises must be quiet and well-lit, and the video image must be clear.

📢 Once the draft notarial act is prepared for signing, the notary explains to the parties their rights and obligations, as well as the content and legal consequences of the notarial act being performed.
