A population and agricultural census will be conducted in Uzbekistan

The Presidential Decree “On conducting the population and agricultural census in the Republic of Uzbekistan” (No. PD–173, September 19, 2025) has been adopted.

⌛️ According to the Decree, the population and agricultural census in Uzbekistan will be conducted as of January 15, 2026, and will take place from January 15 to February 28, 2026.

✅ A republican commission will be established to organize the census.

🏛 The census will be carried out by involving employees of the “mahalla yettiligi” system from December 15, 2025, to March 1, 2026.

📋 In this regard, the Association of Mahallas of Uzbekistan, together with the State Committee on Statistics and other responsible bodies, will ensure that employees of the “mahalla yettiligi” system conduct the census using tablets.

🔗 In addition, state bodies and organizations shall ensure that all their employees are registered on the census.stat.uz portal between January 15 and January 31, 2026.

🏠 Moreover, census headquarters will be established in districts (cities), and their activities will be monitored.
