More than 30% of traffic accidents in Uzbekistan since the beginning of the year have ended in fatalities, according to a report by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. High speed, failure to yield to pedestrians, and ignoring traffic signals were identified as the primary factors contributing to these tragic incidents.
