Hydrocarbon production in Uzbekistan sees sharp decline in early 2026

The extraction of raw energy resources continues a steady decline. In January and February, oil production amounted to 103,100 tons, a 2.6% decrease year-on-year. Natural gas extraction fell by 6.8% to 6.9 billion cubic meters, while gas condensate production saw the steepest drop, plunging 16% to 157,700 tons.
