Japan deports Uzbek national following rejected asylum claim

On April 3, the Immigration Services Agency of Japan deported a citizen of Uzbekistan who had been residing in the country illegally. The individual originally entered Japan on a short-term visa and subsequently applied for refugee status. Despite the application being rejected, the citizen continued to remain in the country unlawfully, leading to the enforcement of the deportation order.
