The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) says in its annual report that more than 20 million people, including 5.6 million children, were supported in Afghanistan in 2025.

In a report released on Monday, April 20, the organization added that these individuals benefited from health services.

According to UNICEF, 10 million children and mothers received vital preventive nutrition services and supplies.
