International media have reported that the U.S. military has targeted an Iranian commercial vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.

Reuters has reported that the vessel was targeted on Sunday, April 19, while it was en route to Bandar Abbas.

Iran has also confirmed that the vessel was traveling from China toward Iran and came under fire.
