Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, supervised the test launch of updated short-range ballistic missiles.

The state news agency Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Sunday, April 19, that five tactical missile launches were carried out during the test to evaluate the power and performance of the new warheads.
