The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) says it has allocated $73.4 million to 71 aid organizations in Afghanistan in 2026.
In a report released on Sunday, April 19, OCHA said the funding will support the implementation of 119 projects.
The office added that, as humanitarian needs are expected to remain high in 2026, timely and flexible funding is essential to sustain life-saving assistance.
