Hello everyone — the team behind
Gifts Strategy and
Numbers Strategy here 👋
We’ve got an important announcement to share: we’ve decided to slightly update
the royalty distribution system.
How it works right now:
– GIFTSTR: 8% of trading volume goes to the treasury and 2% is a developer fee
– NUMSTR: 8% of trading volume goes to the treasury, 1% to devs, and 1% to GIFTSTR buyback & burn
Given the current situation, we see that GIFTSTR trading volumes significantly outweigh NUMSTR volumes. As a result, NUMSTR contributes only a limited amount to GIFTSTR buybacks and burns and also grows its own treasury more slowly.
This is what we want to change
The new system will look like this:
– GIFTSTR: 8% of trading volume goes to the treasury, 1% to devs, and 1% to NUMSTR buyback & burn
– NUMSTR: 8% of trading volume goes to the treasury and 2% is a developer fee
We believe this change benefits holders of both projects:
- for GIFTSTR holders, almost nothing changes and treasury growth remains the same
- for NUMSTR, this creates stronger liquidity and higher trading volume thanks to additional cash flow
In practice, the biggest impact is on the developer fees — we’ll earn less in the short term, but we’re focused on long-term sustainability and the healthy growth of both ecosystems: we’re ready to take this step to preserve trust, reputation, and alignment with our holders
If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in the comments. Thank you for your continued support of both projects
