We welcome the adoption of the 17th package of sanctions against Russia.

The new EU sanctions make it more costly for Russia to continue its war, increasing pressure on its already strained and fragile economy:

📋 75 new listings:

◾ 17 individuals
◾ 58 entities

Targets include military and defence actors, shadow fleet enablers, cultural heritage looters, and a Russian shipping company.

🚢 189 new vessels added to the shadow fleet list, now banned from EU ports and services. Total listed: 342.

⚙️ New export bans on:

◾ Chemical precursors used in missile propellants (e.g., sodium/potassium chlorate, aluminium/magnesium/boron powders).

◾ Spare parts for CNC machine tools (e.g., ball screws, encoders).
