With many Ukrainian schools destroyed or damaged by Russian missiles, Ukrainian children are in dire need of school buses.

A year ago, to make their commutes easier and safer, President von der Leyen in a joint initiative with First Lady of Ukraine - called on the solidarity of EU Member States, regions and companies.

🚌 As a result of this initiative, 371 school buses are being provided to Ukraine, ready to help Ukrainian children enjoy learning and playing at schools again.
