Wood has secured a three-year contract to provide specialist technical support to Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), the country's leading oil producer ????.

The agreement involves 65 engineering and project management experts, joining PDO’s front-end engineering design (FEED) office to deliver energy transition and carbon capture projects.
The team will be supported by Wood’s global network, delivering feasibility studies, pre-FEED, and FEED services across the oil production value chain. The contract is part of Wood’s broader growth in the Middle East, contributing to the company’s $920 million in regional awards in 2024.
