AI-generated content aur deepfakes ke misuse ko rokne ke liye Central Government ne IT Rules 2021 mein amendment karke naye guidelines notify kiye hain. Ye rules 20 February se lagu honge.

Ab AI content ke liye accountability sirf users par nahi, platforms par bhi hogi.

Key changes you should know:
• Social media platforms ko objectionable ya misleading AI content 3 ghante ke andar remove karna hoga
• AI-generated content ko clearly label karna mandatory hoga
• Users ko disclose karna hoga agar content AI se create ya modify kiya gaya hai
• Platforms ko metadata ya unique identifiers add karne honge taaki traceability possible ho
• Kuch synthetic content ko seedha criminal offence maana jayega

Agar platforms in rules ka palan nahi karte, toh unki legal safe harbour protection khatam ho sakti hai.
