Removing Reactions to Posts in Groups

In the beta versions of Telegram for Android (12.7) and iOS (12.6.4), administrators with the “Delete messages” permission can now remove reactions to a message in the group.

To remove a reaction, open the reactions list, long-press the user whose reaction you want to remove. You will be prompted to remove either that reaction or all reactions from that user.

A ‘Delete Reaction’ button has also been added to the user’s profile page (accessible from the reactions list), alongside the ‘Ban and report’ options — though there is no ‘Delete all reactions’ option here.

Note that a user can react to the same post again if no additional limits have been applied to the user after the reaction was removed.
