Removal of Uzbekistanis from the United States  
 
On Wednesday, March 11, the United States concluded a deportation flight to Uzbekistan, returning 65 Uzbekistani nationals who do not have legal authorization to remain in the United States. This flight is the latest in a series of ongoing actions as the United States secures its borders. Since President Trump took office, the United States has deported over 1,000 Uzbekistani nationals as part of our commitment to ending illegal immigration and protecting our nation’s borders and our citizens. Those who enter the United States illegally will face jail time and deportation. The United States deeply thanks the Government of Uzbekistan for its close cooperation in facilitating U.S. deportation operations.
