The
America First Global Health Strategy focuses on keeping Americans safer and stronger by supporting resilient health systems abroad and advancing American innovation.
The
Informatics and Data Science for Health (IDASH) workshops, led by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) help achieve this by
training fellows in practical informatics and data science skills to improve real-world public health responses.
Uzbekistan has been part of IDASH from the start, benefiting from a 12-month, hands-on program that strengthens the capacity of both mid-level and senior public health professionals.
By building stronger health systems in Uzbekistan, IDASH Fellows help create a safer, more resilient future that benefits both the United States and the global community.
