UNHCR Refugee-led Innovation Fund 2025

The Fund is based on the idea that people with lived experience of displacement best understand the needs and challenges of their communities and have creative solutions to address them.

Who can apply?
Organizations led by individuals who have experienced forced displacement or statelessness firsthand, including refugees, asylum-seekers, internally displaced persons, and stateless people.

What does it offer?

✅ Up to USD 45,000 in funding
✅ Tailored support and training from the UNHCR Innovation Service
✅ Open to both registered and unregistered organizations

Since 2022, the Fund has supported 54 projects across 36 countries, reaching over 160,000 people — from mental health support in Syria to microloans for entrepreneurs in Uganda.
