Congratulations to Prajikta Solanki, winner of ThePrint Campus Voice–College Edition. Her story reflects how a paternalistic society justifies silencing artists by framing censorship as moral protection, through the lens of Amar Singh Chamkila’s murder in 1988.

Prajikta Solanki is a student of Lakshmibai College, University of Delhi.

We look forward to more submissions from young reporters. Students in schools and colleges are encouraged to submit their stories to ThePrint Campus Voice.
