Fox News has released its first 2026 midterm power rankings: the U.S. Senate remains a toss-up, with the balance of power likely coming down to four key seats in Iowa, Maine, Ohio, and Alaska.

On the House side, Democrats hold a narrow projected edge to flip the chamber at 211-208, with 16 seats currently rated as toss-ups.

Bill Melugin: “As of right now, voters prefer Democrats on the general ballot against Republicans at about 4%. That’s a flip from 2024 when Republicans led that by 1%.”
