US Representative Yassamin Ansari announced that she intends to introduce articles of impeachment against War Secretary Pete Hegseth, accusing him of participating in an illegal war against Iran.

She explained that President Donald Trump is escalating tensions by threatening to target civilian infrastructure, warning that such policies could amount to war crimes.

She also confirmed that the War Secretary is complicit in these actions, noting that she has called for invoking the 25th Amendment against Trump, in addition to moving forward with impeachment proceedings against Hegseth.
