China's auto production and sales totaled 2.917 million and 2.899 million units in March, up 74.4% and 60.6% from the previous month, respectively, with new energy vehicle (NEV) production and sales reaching 1.231 million and 1.252 million units, respectively, data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers showed on Friday.
