Beijing has welcomed a new museum as the Peking Insect Museum, the first in the southern section of the central axis, opened to the public in the city’s Fengtai District on Thursday. Covering an area of about 4,000 square meters, the museum displays more than 20,000 insect specimens from over 3,000 species.
