Hundreds of boats carrying over 10,000 polers gathered on Monday at Qinhu National Wetland Park in Qintong Town, east China's Jiangsu Province, for the annual Qintong Boat Festival. Listed as a national intangible cultural heritage, the festival originates in the Southern Song Dynasty (1127–1279) and is held in memory of ancestors and ancient heroes.
