As the eastern terminus of the Zhengzhou–Luxembourg Air Silk Road, Zhengzhou, the capital of central China’s Henan Province, has been expanding its airport’s role in international air freight in recent years.
The Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport now serves international cargo routes to over 30 countries and achieved a milestone in 2025 with its annual cargo throughput surpassing 1 million tonnes for the first time.
