Saudi Aramco boosted its Arab Light crude price for May sales to Asia to $19.50 above regional benchmarks, the highest ever.

This comes as Iran’s near-closure of the Strait of Hormuz is choking Gulf oil exports and sending global energy prices sharply higher.
