During the Inter-ministerial briefing on the recent developments in West Asia, Mukesh Mangal, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways informed that at present all the Indian seafarers in the Persian Gulf region are safe. Indian-flagged LPG vessel Jag Vikram crossed the Strait of Hormuz on 11th April. The vessel contains around 20,400 MT LPG and has 24 seafarers onboard. It is expected to reach Kandla port on 14th April.
