During the Inter-ministerial briefing on the recent developments in West Asia, Sujata Sharma, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas informed that since March, around 4,32,000 PNG connections have been gasified and around 4,75,000 new consumers have been registered.

She also informed that all the retail outlets of petrol and diesel are functioning normally and no dry-out has been reported.

The country's refineries are operating at optimum level with sufficient crude inventories and domestic production of LPG has increased.
