During the inter-ministerial briefing on recent developments in West Asia, Piyush Singh, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Power, said that it has been ensured that all our thermal power plants are fully running with adequate coal stocks.

He further added that, in view of the current requirements and certain loss of gas-based capacity, the maintenance of power plants has been deferred for the next three months.
