During the inter-ministerial briefing on the ongoing situation in West Asia, Mukesh Mangal, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways said that in the last 24 hours no incidents related to Indian flag vessels have been reported. In the past two days, two Indian flag vessels— Green Sanvi and Green Asha, both carrying LPG— have safely transited the Strait of Hormuz. Green Sanvi has approximately 46,500 metric tons of LPG cargo and 25 Indian seafarers on board. Whereas, Green Asha is carrying 15,500 metric tons of LPG cargo and has 26 seafarers.
