During the inter-ministerial briefing on the ongoing situation in West Asia, Sujata Sharma, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas informed that the average sale of 5kg cylinder for the month of February was 77,000, and the sale for the same on 4th April was more than 90,000.

She also informed that from today onwards the availability of gas supply to fertilizer plants will be increased to approximately 90% and 17 States and UTs are getting additional 10% LPG under Ease of Doing Business.
