During the media briefing on the ongoing situation in West Asia, Vivek Chaturvedi, Chairman, Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs informed that there have been changes in excise duty on petrol & diesel for domestic consumption, the revised duty on petrol comes down from ₹21.90 per litre to ₹11.90 per litre and from 17.80 per litre to ₹7.80 per litre for diesel.
