During the Inter-Ministerial Briefing on Recent Developments in West Asia, Sujata Sharma, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas said that the Government of India has urged States and Union Territories to grant deemed approval for pending pipeline laying proposals and approve new applications within 24 hours.
