🇷🇺🇵🇭 On July 23, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a meeting with Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines Maria Theresa Lazaro on the sidelines of #ASEAN ministerial events in Manila.

The Officials discussed promising spheres of bilateral cooperation, including in trade, the economy and fuel and energy sectors, and exchanged views on current regional and international issues.

They noted constructive bilateral interaction in the framework of the Russia-ASEAN dialogue partnership, the strategic nature of which was reaffirmed during the 5th Russia-ASEAN summit in Kazan on June 17˗18.
