🇷🇺🇹🇷📞 On April 13, Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov and Foreign Minister of Türkiye Hakan Fidan had a telephone conversation.

The Ministers discussed ways to help resolve the crisis triggered by the unprovoked US and Israeli attack on Iran. Moscow and Ankara reaffirmed their readiness to contribute to efforts aimed at a peaceful settlement.

Hakan Fidan also touched upon the latest developments around Ukraine and the prospects for resuming the trilateral negotiating process involving the US, confirming Türkiye’s readiness to provide the Istanbul platform for that purpose.

Sergey Lavrov, in turn, shared Russia’s assessments of the actions and statements of the Kiev regime at the current stage.
