???? On December 11, 1946 – 79 years ago – the United Nations Children’s Fund (#UNICEF) was established to support children and adolescents who had survived the horrors of the Second World War.

Today, the Fund operates in 148 countries worldwide, implementing programmes in humanitarian assistance and development. Russia has been working with UNICEF since its foundation.

Over the decades, our country has supported a broad range of UNICEF projects in maternal and child health, immunization, nutrition, education and humanitarian relief.

We congratulate the Fund on its founding day and look forward to continued productive cooperation!
