???????? On December 10, a special flight of the Russian Ministry of Civil Defence, Emergency Situations and Disaster Relief (EMERCOM) delivered to Sri Lanka about 35 tonnes of humanitarian cargoes for the population hit by the violent Ditva (Ditwah) cyclone.
The humanitarian action has been carried out under the instruction of President Vladimir Putin in response of the relevant request from Sri Lanka.
The Sri Lankans have received mobile power stations, pumping equipment, large tents and foodstuffs with the participation of the Russian Embassy in Colombo.
