???????? On December 9, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Peter Szijjarto, who is in Moscow for the 16th Meeting of the Russian-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.   

The Ministers coordinated their approaches to a broad range of practical issues of bilateral collaboration with a focus on implementing agreements reached during talks between President of Russia Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban in the Kremlin on November 28, 2025.

They also continued a substantive exchange of views on a number of current international topics, including Ukraine crisis settlement.
