Here we go again! 🌋

Just after 6 AM this morning, a 3-kilometer (1.8 miles) long volcanic fissure has opened by Sundhnúkagígar.

As a traveler to Iceland, this eruption should have no effect on your travel plans ✈️👍

Apart from the Blue Lagoon, of course, which has been temporarily closed 🩵

Please note that the eruption area is closed and off-limits to the public 🙅
