The UN Special Envoy, during a visit to the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS), met with the President of the Society and said that the genocide that occurred at a school in Minab will be recorded in world history.

Mr. Jean Arnault also praised the Iranian Red Crescent’s humanitarian efforts, saying: “The world hears your voice.”

The extent of the destruction caused by the war and the tragedy at the Minab ‎girls’ school will be recorded as a historic event, he noted, adding that the ‎international community has not remained indifferent to it‏.‏

‎“The performance of your colleagues is a clear sign of sacrifice, carried out under ‎extremely dangerous conditions over the past five weeks,” he said‏.‏

‎“You have certainly seen and felt that the international community has not remained indifferent ‎to this tragedy. Public opinion in many countries, reflected in numerous surveys, has condemned ‎this war and regards its consequences as extremely grave,” he added.‎
