The Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS), in its 11th statement issued during the imposed war against the country, announced that its relief teams have carried out 2,000 relief missions and rescued 944 people from beneath the rubble from 28 February to the morning of 9 April.
During this period, more than 28,000 aid workers participated in search and rescue operations as well as debris removal across the country.
Most of the relief operations were conducted in the capital, Tehran.
In addition, 2,006 young counselors responded to 152,427 calls from people seeking psychosocial support through the 4030 hotline.
In total, 763,709 minutes of psychosocial consultations, equivalent to about 13,000 hours, have so far been provided to affected people through the 4030 hotline.
Moreover, during the recent imposed war, 257 women were martyred in the airstrikes, three of whom were pregnant. A total of 220 people under the age of 18 were also martyred.
