📕 Farther vs Further

📏 = Physical Distance

If you can measure it with a ruler or a GPS, use farther.
It has the word “far” in it!

🔴 “The park is farther away than I thought.”
🔴 “He ran farther than his teammate.”

💡 Further = Everything Else

If you mean “more,” “extra,” or “later,” use further.
It’s for things you can’t measure with a ruler.

🟡 “Let’s discuss this further tomorrow.” (More time)

📝 The Cheat Sheet Rule

If you can replace the word with “more,” use “further.”

✅ “I have no further (more) questions.”
❌ “The store is two miles further away.”
✅ “The store is two miles farther away.”
