Die im Beispiel genannte Person (34 Jahre) ist Mitglied der römisch-katholischen Kirche und bezahlte ab dem 20. Lebensjahr (Durschnitt aus Lehr- und Studienzeit) Steuern und somit Kirchensteuern. Wie oben erwähnt, unterliegt das monatliche Einkommen dem Schweizer Durchschnitt von Fr. 6’427.-.

Steuerpflicht in Nettojahren: 34 Jahre – 20 Jahre = 14 Jahre
Total Kirchensteuern: 14 Jahre x Fr. 825.- = Fr. 11’550.-
