Meet Alireza, who, together with Sam Riahi, is researching to create just that: a self-charging pacemaker. The pacemaker recharges itself through 'kinetic energy' every time the heart muscle moves🙌

The self-charging pacemaker significantly reduces the risk of infections and reduces the number of surgeries for heart patients with a pacemaker. Currently, heart patients have to undergo surgery every time the battery needs to be changed. But this will soon be a thing of the past.
