Latest Reports indicate that a McDonnell Douglas ACES II ejection seat from a U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle has been discovered by civilians in southern Iran. The fate of the aircraft’s pilot and weapons systems officer remains unknown, amid unverified claims that one or both may have been captured by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
