- Virginia, North Dakota, Kansas, Alaska, Arkansas, California, etc.: imprisonment up to 1 year
- Wyoming: imprisonment up to 2 years
The other so around 3-5 years ... some a bit more ...

ARE WE SERIOUSLY?! 1-5 years for killing or doing torture or whatever tons of animals against laws?!

Which is TOO LOW! even if they increased from 1 year to 5 in 20 years ...

Again, we are NOT lawyers, maybe laws are different, but STILL NOT COMPARABLE TO HUMAN LAWS, that in many cases are still too low too! Yes, this topic is complex, but still not an excuse!
